Additional Award: Blue Ribbon - Youth
The name of this quilt is Star Struck. It was inspired by the way the pattern draws your eye to a focal point and how the colors complemented each other with their subtle, yet bold colors. This quilt was made using the 1/2" square triangle technique. 10" squares were sewn together, then cut on the diagonal, and placed in the pattern. The blocks were then pieced together to form the quilt. This was my fourth quilt to make. I have continued quilting and have made a total of eleven quilts.
