Much of my quilting inspiration comes from the world around me and the patterns I see in day to day life. This design, Underfoot, was inspired by a tile bathroom floor I saw while traveling. For many quilters it is probably second nature to look for patterns all around them, but most people probably wouldn't find a bathroom floor inspiring.
