Sweet Treasures Blue Ribbon - Adult
A variety of stars in a variety of colors on a black background quilted with variegated thread. Each star features a different fabric selection as does the setting stars. The border was made using the leftover pieces from the stars. The black background just screamed that it needed to be quilted with variegated thread and boy did it take it from plain to spectacular.

Jean Wehmeyer made the quilt. The pattern is by Terri Staats. This was designed as a block of the month pattern that Jean taught at her shop. She chose each star fabric just for this quilt. Jean pieced each block. Faye Morgan quilted the quilt on her long arm quilting machine. Her machine is not computerized.
