My grandson Liam is my inspiration in creating this quilt. He informed me exactly what kind of car he wanted, the colors and even some of the details he wanted. I drew each car, tractor, etc. made each template. Buttons, rick-rack and different colored embroidery thread was used for each car/bock. Two different, yet the same material was chosen for the front of the quilt to bring all the cars/blacks together. The border and backing is a dark navy blue to help frame the bright colors and to show the white thread in used for hand quilting the back.
