This wall hanging is made of 15 hexagons. I cut up vintage linens owned by my grandmother and my mother to create this quilt. I used hankies, dresser scarves, napkins and crotched doilies and sewed them onto a muslin background. Many of the linens were items that my grandmother and my mom had made. I embellished the hexagons with embroidery, beading, lace, buttons and ribbons. I started the quilt in July of 2021 and finished it in November of 2022. I was inspired by Vintage Linens Quilter, Rhonda Cox Dort.
