At a mini retreat, held by our guild, I saw this quilt block on a friends table. I really liked it and ask about the pattern and some of the fabric used. The pattern is called “Cozy Cabin” by Morgan McCullough and she had used a pretty floral fabric from a local quilt shop. Another lady had also purchased a pattern and fabric for a smaller quilt. She had decided she didn’t want to work on the project and sold me the pattern and some of her fabric. For my larger quilt I added from my stash and ordered some needed fabric. I designed the border in order to use most of the fabric purchase from my friend. I am very partial to the log cabin pattern and I selected floral fabrics with the intention of donating the finished quilt to the garden club for a scholarship raffle.
