I am inspired by my koi fish pond. I first created the koi with inktense colored fabric ,free motion quilting and organza. The flowers were paper pieced, beaded and hand embroidered. All of these pieces were appliqued to the background. Then I hand quilted the background with big stitch quilting. The last element added was the beading adjacent to the binding.
