I have had the great privilege of exploring the ocean as a SCUBA diver. Each time I get to see it up close there is always a new surprise. I am fascinated with the ocean and dedicated to conservation. This quilt is my interpretation of what it looks like to look towards the surface and the sun from below, especially in the Caribbean Sea. If you get the chance to experience the ocean first hand, I encourage you to take it. The quilt is based on a traditional ocean waves block and designed with a controlled improv approach.
