So this quilt is a product of "let's make something improv, but wait, I love rulers and precision". I made many paper sketches and none of them really made me fall in love, until I gathered a handful of fabrics, and "one of those templates that I had for years and never used" and just started sewing. By inserting a strip of fabric, in each concave and convex piece, soon I had a couple of drunkards path wannabe.

Everything was traditionally pieced with the help of pins and lots of patience.
